John Van-Herbert is British trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, and a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) as well as the UK regulatory body; General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). He received his Masters of Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in England in 2013. He received the Clinical Student of the Year award at his graduation, he has also completed his ITEC Sports Therapy training in 2009. John and his wife moved to Niagara, from London UK in 2017 and since then has firmly set roots in the region.
John is the Team Osteo for the OHL Niagara IceDogs, as well as being a therapist for Team GB mens lacrosse team. He has worked with a wide variety of athletes at all levels, and remains committed to studying and researching to provide the highest level of patient care.
John specializes in sports injury treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention. As well techniques to improve range of motion/flexibility, biomechanics and joint function.
When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons, as well as recreationally playing most sports, but especially hockey now that he’s in Canada!
